ALBANY, NY (NEWS120) - State Senator Jim Tedisco is trying to win re-election for the fourth time. He's going up against democrat and Saratoga Springs City Councilmember Minita Sanghi.
Tedisco is no stranger to the state legislature. The republican was a member of the state Assembly for 33 years before moving on to the senate in 2016.
He says he's proud of the fact that he has been able to get meaningful legislation passed despite a democratic majority in both the legislature and the governor's office.
Tedisco sat down with NEWS10's Trishna Begam to discuss the issues facing senate district 44 and his plans for another term.
