ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- When it comes to the New York State Senate, no current senator has served longer than democrat Neil Breslin. He ran 14 times, and 14 times, he won.
But the 81-year old has decided he will not seek re-election. The decision was announced during a meeting in January of the Albany County Democratic Committee.
Unlike many politicians, Breslin is not loud and avoids television cameras -- all the more reason for NEWS10's John Gray to head down to the Capitol and take the shy senator down memory lane.
