ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County Democratic Committee has decided to not endorse any candidate for the Albany County District Attorney's seat. The decision was made in a meeting on Wednesday night.
Leadership decided not to endorse any of the four people vying for the position. The decision comes one week after the committee said it would not endorse current DA David Soares.
Soares used state grant money to give himself a bonus. He has since said he would return the money.
The primary petition process runs from Feb. 27 through April 4. Candidates need 2,000 signatures to make it on the ballot.
