ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Candidates running for Albany's 109th Assembly District faced voters at SUNY Albany's downtown campus on Tuesday night. The forum was organized by the NAACP and other sponsors.
The candidates include: Owusu Anane, Gabriella Romero, Jack Flynn, Alicia Purdy, Andrew Joyce, Dustin Reidy, and Ginnie Farrell. The six democrats and one republican took audience questions on issues ranging from immigration to bipartisan cooperation. The event was hosted by NEWS10's Zion Decoteau.
Primary Day in New York State is June 25. You must be registered with a political party in order to vote in its primary.
