ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Candidates running for New York State's 109th Assembly District (which encompasses Albany, Guilderland, and New Scotland) faced voters at SUNY Albany's Downtown Campus Tuesday night.
At the forum organized by the NAACP and other sponsors, the six democrats: Owusu Anane, Gabriella Romero, Jack Flynn, Andrew Joyce, Dustin Reidy, Ginnie Farrell and Republican Alicia Purdy took audience questions. The topics ranged from immigration to bipartisan corporation.
The forum, hosted by NEWS10's Zion Decoteau, is for the assembly seat that will be vacated by democrat Patricia Fahy. The assemblywoman the New York State Senate's 46th District.
Primary day in New York State is June 25th. You must be registered with a political party to vote in its primary.
