ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - For the first time in twelve years, someone other than Pat Fahy will be representing the 109th district in the New York Assembly. Republican Alicia Purdy is hoping it will be her.
She's run for Albany mayor in the past but is now focusing on state government. Purdy says issue number one for her is public safety. She says there are many laws that are not being enforced.
Purdy sat down with News10's Christina Arangio to discuss the issues facing the 109th Assembly district.
