ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Republican Jeff Madden is trying to unseat the incumbent for the 110th district Assembly seat. It's a seat Phil Steck has held for six terms.
Both candidates say the economy and cost of living are at the top of voters' minds. Madden points to the state budget as the reason why cost of living is so high and people are leaving the state.
The republican wants answers as to why New York's budget is nearly double the size of Florida's, even though the Sunshine State has more people. Madden sat down with News10's Lydia Kulbida to discuss the issues facing the 110th Assembly district.
