ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - With the retirement of Neil Breslin, a new state senator will be representing the 46th district. Local business owner Ted Danz Jr. is hoping to turn the district republican.
One of his biggest priorities is crime and bail reform. Danz says bail is needed to insure defendants show up for their court hearings but the one size fits all approach to bail reform does not work.
Danz sat down with News10's Lydia Kulbida to discuss the issues facing the 46th senate district.
